Price : US $1,000.
This is a 1970 Conn 88H Trombone manufactured in Elkhart, Indiana. In 1971 the company was sold and moved to Texas. These were horns of character played by many famous musicians and are still prized and in high demand today. The Serial # is N 15021. The ''N'' series were made in 1970 and this is available at the Conn site. This horn is in very good condition for it's age.The Bell is Rose Brass. It blows freely and slots very well. This horn has a wonderful rich sound. The inner slides are in perfect condition. There is a very small ding on the slide but it is still as smooth as glass. There is a small ding on the bell and another on the back of the tuning slide. I have made pictures of them. These do not take away from the beauty of this horn. This horn has not been played regularly since 1992. It has been professionally cleaned. The case is new. This is the original finish. It retains 99% of it's original laquer and shows only slight amount of laquer wear in the hand grip area. There are some faint scratches on the horn but overall it is in fantastic shape. A piece of History can be yours with this horn. I realize it will soon be Christmas and time is getting short. I will mail the next day after payment. Insurance is included. Thanks for L@@king. Shipping to US only. PS I have taken the trombone to a music professional to remove the ding from the slide and possibly the one on the end. It will be in my possession by the weekend and I will post new photos then. It is my desire to sell this horn in as near perfect condition as I can. I would have done this sooner but wanted to make it availabl
