Price : US $207.50
This is a vintage King Trombonium in Bb with adjustable curved bell, made by the H.N. White company. Serial number is 353238, dating it to approximately 1955-1960. All original parts with the exception of two valve buttons and the lyre screw. Original King gold lacquer is is worn in many places, some dents and dings throughout but none that affect playability. Valves are smooth and slides are functional. Sold as-is. No case or mouthpiece.
These horns were among the first marching trombones and were used by the bands of Ohio State and USC among many others. They were also occasionally used by jazz trombonists, most notably J. J. Johnson and Kai Winding. Other companies, including Conn, Reynolds, and York developed similar upright valve trombones, but strictly speaking, ''Trombonium'' is a King/HN White tradename. Playable examples are often sought by collectors. Use ''Buy it Now'' option to secure one today.
