This is a King nickel double french horn serial number 459874. Made by the king musical instrument company of East Lake, Ohio. This horn is in great mechanical condition and has been recently chemically cleaned and serviced by Sam Rizzi of Volkweins music Latrobe, Pa. The horn plays wonderfully with good center of pitch and intonation. Cosmetically the are some very small dents mostly near the left hand area and the is alot of laquer wear in the areas where you would place your hands. I'm told this is normal on a horn of this age.The case is very solid although it looks its' age, it still is very servicable. Please check out the pictures as they tell the whole story. This would be a very good horn for student or adult.
