 GOOD PLAYING, OLDER GETZEN TROMBONE,  EXCELLENT SLIDE
This trombone is in very good playing condition but cosmetically is just ok.  It has no significant dents.  At first I thought the slide bore was a .509 bore like the King 3B based on how it compared to another horn that I know to be a .500 bore but now I think this is the smaller .500 bore.  Regardless, it has a full solid sound and plays well throughout it's range. It has a lot of small scratches and lacquer wear, especially where two solder repairs were done, one on the bell brace and another repair where the bell attaches to the back tuning slide.  The welds could be a little cleaner but they are solid.  The slide is probably nickel/silver or nickel plated and is light and fast with good compression. The slide is just slightly noisy and has an Amato water valve instead of the usual spring lever. The right lubricant could take care of the slide noise. Case is serviceable but will need edges of the inside fabric glued down, There are cracks in two areas of the outer shell of the case. If you are not handy, a new case is a better option.
