Holton Sousaphone Model 122 (engraved on bell) serial number 312900, circa 1958.  This is an eBay purchase I made many years ago hoping to have it restored and it just never happened.


The instrument is in good shape for a 50 year old sousa, except that the lead pipe is cracked in half (see pic) and must be replaced.   All valves and slides pull and work freely.  The bell measures 26''.  The plating is worn on the valves (see pics). There is no neck, bits, or case included.
