DEG Dynasty II Baritone DEG Dynasty II Baritone DEG Dynasty II Baritone

Up for auction is a DEG Dynasty II Baritone Bugle in the Key of G.  This Baritone has a Chrome finish and has 2 Valves.  Serial Number 9736.

Condition: This Baritone is another, what I like to call, 15 footer.  This means the Horn looks good from 15 foot away which is probably the distance most performers will be from an audience. The 2nd valve tuning slide thumb ring is soldered on in a perfmanent position, not adjustable as the design usually has.  The originals ring probably broke off and was lost.  The lead pipe pinky ring appears to be original and is still intact. The Chrome finish on this horn has seen better days as it has flaked away in the areas where performers hands have grasped the Bugle. There are also several dents including a wrinkle in the Bell a dime size dent below the lead pipe water key some dents on the rear crook, probably from being dropped. This horn is probably around 25 years old and has seen lots of Drum Corps action so battle damage is to be expected.

A Little History: This bugle was once owned and used by the Sunrisers Drum & Bugle Corps of Long Island New York, currently a Senior Corps in the Drum Corps Associates Circuit.  This horn was last used by Prairie Sound Drum & Bugle Corps of Olathe, KS.  They have since moved onto mainly 3 valve G Bugles.

This Bugle does not come with a or mouthpiece.

A Euphonium Gig Bag would work well to house this h
