This is a small tuba or some other similar instrument??? It appears to be copper coated with brass which is worn off in several areas; numerous dents and , probably, small pieces missing but not having any knowledge of instruments, am unable to list them. Also, a bit of paint on it. Engraved on it is , '' Patent Clear Bore , Class A, Exhibition Prize Medals Awarded to J. Higham Ltd. Makers Strangways Manchester England 57807 Weatherburn & Glidden Toronto , Sole Agents, Canada. It is 25 inches long / high ; bell is just shy of 10 inches in diameter; I can see no actual cracks in metal but a many dents....
