Cavalry Bugle. Boosey & Hawkes silver plated. Low Pitch. Ex Australian Army. Good condition with virtually no wear to the silver plating. This is a very well made and solid instrument and is fitted with an additional ring around the bell to add strength. A small ring is fitted on the bend near the mouthpiece receiver to take a chain etc.


The bugle measures 450mm long, the body is 115mm high at the centre and the bell is 120mm diameter.


It plays well, has a very bright sound and takes a standard trumpet mouthpiece. It is pitched in Eb.
