1928 Conn 40H Ballroom Model Trombone

HERE IS A BEAUTIFUL OLD INSTRUMENT IN VERY POOR CONDITION. That said, this is a great piece for restoration. The horn was one of Conn's best at the time. It's silver plated and the bell is gold washed. There is a tuning mechanism built into the slide allowing the bore to be completely conical and this was supposed to improve tone projection. The tuning slide works fine. Now for the bad news: There is one missing support brace(see photo #4),the slide needs to be corrected, and there are a number of dents one at the bottom of the slide will have to be taken out but the rest are cosmetic. Here are some specs: Conn 40H Ballroom Model-B flat, 7' bell, .500 bore, serial # 259204 (dated to 1927-28).
There is no case or mouthpiece.
